Meet Christa Ford, LCSW
My goal is to tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs, helping clients develop practical tools, process difficult experiences, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Therapist, Owner of Freedom in Healing Professional Counseling
“I am the owner of Freedom in Healing Professional Counseling. As a licensed therapist, it is my privilege to walk alongside individuals as they pursue healing, growth, and lasting change.
Over the past 20 years, I have served not only as a clinician but also in roles involving crisis management, integrated healthcare, program leadership, and higher education as an adjunct faculty member. I also enjoy speaking at community events and workshops, where I provide faith based education on mental health, trauma, and emotional wellness. These diverse experiences have broadened my perspective and continue to enrich the care I provide to my clients.
I am trained in several evidence-based treatment approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My goal is to tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs, helping clients develop practical tools, process difficult experiences, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, serving in my church community, and enjoying good coffee.”
